Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

When I got up this morning even though I slept in a little late, (I had told myself that I would get up early and run when it was cool, but at 1:00 a.m. when I went to bed last night I changed my mind) so I got up and went out about 8:30. It still felt pretty cool and was a little overcast so I thought I should get a longer run in. I haven't had anything over 4-5 miles in almost a month. It actually felt really good. I found little sprinklers along the way and then about mile four I was on a new road they are paving and I ran past a water truck that was spraying the road and it really got me wet! It felt oh so nice and I think thats why I convinced myself to do a few extra miles (Yea!) Well off to make one more skirt, I ran into a friend in Walmart yesterday trying to figure out what she needed to make her skirts for the trek and I realized her sewing skills might be worse off than mine ( If that could be possible?) so one more to go :)
