Thanks! I tried to remind myself that I was just using as the first training race of the year, but of course, it hurt a little too have a slower time from my last halves. Still, it felt great to race again. It's amazing how far away December can seem when it's cold and snowy.

I know you are getting lots and lots of snow in Utah...We have the hardest winter we have had in a long time here. . . Between that and the blizzard in NY a few weeks ago, I can't wait for it to be over.

I hope your training is going great! I tried to implement my add mileage on top of half-marathon races after my last half marathon. I only added three miles this time around and it took some getting used too, but I liked the feeling. I'll try to shoot to add more next time.

When is your next race? How is the winter treating you? Your mileage looks great as usual.

the winter here has been typical snow-wise, but it has been unreasonably cold. we have had a few bad weeks with single digit lows -- uncommon for it to be that cold here. i am SO ready for summer right now.

i will be racing a few 5ks and half marathons in the early spring, but i haven't decided on my next marathon yet. i am considering eugene again, as i really, really loved that race.
