AM: 3 PM: REGION! AHHH. well i was gonna pee my pants. I don't think i've ever been so nervous but i calmed down as we got there. The race was hard and fast. Felt pretty good and started off well and kept up with the top few girls. The last mile or so was the hardest and there was a lot of mind battling going. The little "incline" killed and i didn't know if my body was gonna take it. So hard when coach and kaylee and them were screaming to catch the cedar girls. Wasn't happy that i didn't but it gives me a goal to shoot for, for state. It was surprising how much my legs killed and burned but i'm glad that i tried hard from the start. JP is a killer and i gotta just stick with her, especially when she's that close to me. but anywho, boys and girls took 2nd and i know we did our best and it was great! |
