suprisingly i wasn't that nervous! I actaully felt EXCITED! yeah, pretty new right? Stoner kept tapping me or something that everytime she did i felt like throwing up cause i finally got a wee bit nervous.. JP had it worse though (go pity her). Anywho, the JV girls did AMAZING! JV/Varsity boys did awesome too.

I was actaully postitive throughout a lot of the race! That's new to me, i'm usually more on the negative side. BUT not today! I was proud! When someone said i'm doing awesome i'd actually think "heck yes i'm doing awesome". at one point some kid said "I bet you can catch up to those girls" than i thought "I bet i could!" than my pride got struck down or something. I'm always scared to be prideful cause i got this visual in my mind that the Almighty strucks me down.. anyways i felt good during the race and i think i could've pushed it more. Excited to see how much more i can improve! happy that fridas here to help me get up there with them!! (:

Your race was very solid throughout. I could tell you had a great attitude throughout the race - you could just see it on your face and in your body language. Keep on it... and it is okay to have a little pride (but I would say "confidence") as you have earned it by your workouts and progress!

Great, Mia. Let the positive confidence flow.
