I loved running today.

Mostly.

The first 3 miles sucked it up--I just didn't feel it.  But during the last mile before the turnaround (and my slowest mile of the day) things improved drastically.  The 4 miles back to the car were all sub 8!

On another note, I think I'm going to petition the county, or whoever is responsible for that trail, to ban idiots and long-boarders.  Mostly they are both the same, but today I had a guy walking two mini-dogs and he was letting them wander wherever the heck they wanted to go--which included right in front of me.  I mumbled some choice words under my breath as I hopped and skipped over his dogs and their leashes--idiot.  When I was heading back down he pretty much did the same thing as we passed again only this time we glared at each other.  And then there's the long boarders.  I can't count the number of times while I've been on a bike they've nearly caused me to crash because they don't understand where their lane is or why they should be there when being passed or passing--idiots!

I'll stop ranting now or I'll cross the civil and respectful line we've been asked not to.

Nice job on the run. Too bad about all the idiots.
