Very glad today that I got hobnails into a pair of shoes on Sunday night. Rushed to fit in an 8 mile run this afternoon. I had to be home by 3 for a conference call I had set up. Shortened the run to 7.5 miles because I was running out of both time and energy. I was really concerned because I had absolutely no energy while running, then my stomach started rumbling at 6 miles and it dawned on me (dope slap) that the only thing I had eaten all day was a hot chocolate and apple fritter at 8 a.m. on the way to the hospital to get my dad. Taking getting used to the effect of running in snow on my THR. 12:00/12:48/13:22/13:01/13:16/12:54/13:18. Very cold second half into the wind. Is summer almost here?
