Starting to get up early on a regular basis to beat the heat and get my runs in first thing in the morning. My version of a tempo run today (first in 8 months).....Set the Garmin to beep if I fall below 12 mm. Also pushed my daily mileage up to 5 miles today. Nice to beat the roosters and sun out and run in shorts and a t-shirt with no gloves. Avg: 11:35 11:43/11:39/11:29/11:21/11:37 1 mile cooldown with the dog. Didn't wear an ankle brace today - but the ankle felt good once it warmed up. Think I'll call my chiropractor today. Something in the right hip is not right - I have a lot less flexibility than in the left hip - probably from my time in a boot.
