Working on steady state running is a pain with headwinds.  It was a lot warmer this morning but the wind chill cooled things down a little bit.  Why is it headwinds seem to make you notice the uphills more?

3.5 miles.

PM - Did an upper body workout tonight while watching Biggest Loser.  (grrrr - I can't believe Ron the master manipulator made it to the final four).

I find it hard to run into the wind. I find it hard to breathe. And when I'm going up hill and against the wind I feel like my effort is really high and my pace is LOW!

Glad you got some miles in anyway!

good job running in the dumb wind!

Head winds make everything WORSE!!! I am sorry you had some this morning. The nice thing about the summer is that the wind becomes a cooler for us :) Bring on the HEAT!!!

Wind is an invisible wall. WAY to break thru it and uphill to boot. Where and what are you running this Sat.?

Nice job fighting the wind! Its amazing...I don't think I ever really noticed how hard the wind blows until I started running!

We're running Lehi Sat at 7 if you'd like to join us.

I'm still undecided on Saturday. It will be my first weekend off in a few weeks and I have a stupid Homeowners Association meeting at 10 that I am supposed to attend.

Let's put it this way - if you see me there, it means I decided to come.

sounds good! Having a Saturday off is a rare thing...enjoy it, no matter what you do!

Ditto that, I was furious. I could care less who wins now, all of my favorites are gone. Go TARA.
