Short-Term Running Goals:

It's been a challenging year so far since Boston 2011.  When I got home from Boston my world changed when I found out I had some pretty severe food allergies. Since being tested I have been focused on building my health back up which has been a long slow process. What a difference it's made and I feel extremely blessed. For years I knew something was wrong and it's amazing to finally know that food can actually be a persons medicine to live a healthy life. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I'm hoping to start building more miles when I can and be injury free.  Maybe one of these days I'll be fast. Just for now I'm just very happy to be running.

Personal:

Happily married to Marlin Ordway. We've got 4 grown children between the two of us.  It's been fun watching them go through life - making mistakes and picking themselves back up.  I love seeming them happy and succeeding.

Early morning run at the gym - 8 miles.  Stretched andoff to work.  

After work went back to the gym - ran 3 miles.  Stretched more and did strenght training.

A morning of intervals. Ran 8 x 400 x 200.  Finished with a MP for the rest of run.  Felt pretty good overall.  Been awhile since I've ran in Z3/Z4. Ended with 8.60 miles, stretched and then off to work.  

Went back to the gym after work today and ran alittle over 3 miles at a slow pace. Finished with jumprope, squats and stretching. Sure do like switching things around. Good day of working out.

Woke up alittle early to work on something for work.  Ran 7.25 easy miles and stetched before heading off to work.  Taking it easy from yesterday's workout's.   Not sure about doing a double today.  Will see how it goes.

Went and saw a PT yesterday about my hip.  It's been bugging me for months.   Was glad he had idea's of what it was and what to do.  Afterwards went to the gym....ran 10 miles.  Felt pretty good actually.  Wonder if I'll pay the price later.

 During my run my HR was all over the place.  Only slept so so last night. So, don't know if it was due to lack of sleep or yesterdays run.   Hope everyone enjoy's their Friday!

Well, I do have to say it's pretty hard watching everyone get their blogs updated and I'm not able to run this morning.   Glad to help a co-worker out, but sad I'm not our running like everyone else.  Everyone seems to be logging some good miles this morning!
