Short-Term Running Goals:

It's been a challenging year so far since Boston 2011.  When I got home from Boston my world changed when I found out I had some pretty severe food allergies. Since being tested I have been focused on building my health back up which has been a long slow process. What a difference it's made and I feel extremely blessed. For years I knew something was wrong and it's amazing to finally know that food can actually be a persons medicine to live a healthy life. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

I'm hoping to start building more miles when I can and be injury free.  Maybe one of these days I'll be fast. Just for now I'm just very happy to be running.

Personal:

Happily married to Marlin Ordway. We've got 4 grown children between the two of us.  It's been fun watching them go through life - making mistakes and picking themselves back up.  I love seeming them happy and succeeding.

Managed to get to the gym alittle earlier today.  8 miles total.  After work I went back to do the yoga class.  Sure does make a difference when you stretch.  Finished with doing a couple of other exercises with Marlin.  It was a good day of working out.

Intervals at the gym this morning. I was alittle tired, so I'm not sure if it was due to the intervals or yoga and strenght training yesterday after work.

Went back to the gym after work today. Did the ellipitical for 30 min's, stretched and some strenght training.

Arrived at the gym on schedule.  First thing I saw was Lynette, Marlin and Curt running away...they are so speedy.   I managed to get one of TM's towards the end.   Just a normal run since yesterday was intervals.  Before getting ready for work I did a couple of weights and lunges.  Hope everyone has a good day!

Made it to the gym early this morning.  Finished with 7 miles today knowing tomorrow is a long run.  Finished with some strenght training and then off to work.

Went to the gym this morning.  Not super early because I wanted to sleep in just alittle bit since it Sat.  Not many people at the gym because they all went outside.  I didn't want my first run outside to be a long run.  I think I'll work on getting out there this week.   Had planned to run 14 to 16 miles.  Felt pretty good overall so decided to do 1 more to make it 17.  Made sure I stretched good afterwards.  Spent the rest of the day just running around doing errands.  Ton of fun meeting up with my sister and mom at Sam's club. 

Looks like everyone had a good day of running!!!  Good luck to Gray and Jeff tomorrow!!!
