Personal:

I am 26 years old. I am the Production Coordinator for all visual communications for Kiawah Island Real Estate. I've been a runner since high school, and I have a competitive nature that should explain my high mileage. I challenge myself to accomplish what I never imagined I could do, and I try to encourage myself and others to push their limits. I'm usually late to parties and social gatherings, since I have to get the run in first...(but luckily, I have great friends who acknowledge my routine). I suffered a bad case of plantar fasciitis March of 2010, and I picked up cycling/spinning while I recovered. Surprisingly, I totally loved it. I only ran on a whim or on weekends, or on vacation days when my gym was closed. This fall, I finally got back into the swing of things and started racing again. I'll try to update my races and runs more frequently. I'd like to be where I was 2 years ago....12 miles a day...I mean...what?!?! =)

Isn't this a great day and age we live in, where a girl can be on top of the mileage board?

Thanks a lot! Such a supportive group on here, I love it. As much as I want to say that I'm a bada$$, I was freezing cold on my 20 mile Sunday run (and it was like 55 degrees). I'm a wimp when it comes to cold weather. I'm more acclimated for about 85°+ conditions.
