Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

AM: 7.5 miles.  After three days of fighting a nasty cold I was able to get a run in!  Standard route to Sugar House park.  We have a " Ragnar" group run planned to tonight at the Wasatch Running store.  I'll have to take the short leg and hope I can finish it!

PM: 5.8 miles.  Still under the weather so I took the last, short leg (3 miles).  It was actually much shorter (2.8) but still ran around a six minute pace while coughing up a lung.  Fun time with the group.

Run before the storm with the group out at Highland HS then up to Wasatch.  Still shaking the head cold, but nice pace.
