Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

Ran in the canyon today.  The marine layer moved in quickly, so it was dark by 5 PM.  This made it challenging to get back home.  I had to look out for rocks, holes andbe  careful crossing the river. 

 
It was probably in the upper 50's when I finished. 

I still had a little soreness from the long run on Saturday, so I didn't push it too hard.

I would really like to meet the group from long runs. Where do you meet?

I run with a group called In-Motion (part of USA Fit) They have two groups. One in Mission Bay and the other in Carlsbad. Lately, I've been running with the Carlsbad group because they are faster. I'll e-mail you the info later this week. I think they are running 12 miles.
