Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

Run through the canyon then the neighborhood.  Lots of people out today because of the holiday.  It was about 80 degrees when I started, but cooled of to 70 when I finished.  It was a nice, flat run.  It may be time to retire my shoes.  I'm starting to get some inside lower leg pain.

Ya- I just retired my running shoes and I decided to go with the Asics 2120 that Dominique and Andrea are so fond of. I think I need a little extra stability now because I'm not running on my toes as much. I went out with the group yesterday (Jan 1st) and it made a world of difference. No lower leg pain the first mile.

BTW- I registered for the Boston Marathon, but I still need to get airline tickets. What times are you flying in and out of Boston again?
