Personal: Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).
Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon. I decided to test that theory. I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24). I need 3 more minutes.

| | I've been a slacker with this log book, so I'm going to try and update it this week. I made a commitment to run the Ragnar Northwest Passage relay over the weekend and I need to try and build up some speed so as not to embarrass myself. Elizabeth and I are spending the weekend at Red Mt. Spa in St. George. Today, I ran Snow Canyon. St. George is a great place to run. I really couldn't feel the elevation change from sea level in San Diego, but the humidity was a lot lower making the running easier. | Add Comment |

| | Run through PQ canyon. First 5 miles were nice. It was cool and cloudy, but then the sun came out and it was a struggle back in the heat/humidity. Received our initial "legs" for the NW Passage relay from Paul. I'm going to try and get a 10K race in before the relay, so I can work on my speed. | Add Comment |

| | 1 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down with 4 mile tempo. Ran with group at Lake Miramar. There are a few 3:00 hour marathoners that push the pace. Nice run even with the heat. | Add Comment |
