#7 on the mileage board for a little while until the WONDERFUL marathon runners post!  I am enjoying my 10 minutes of fame :D

Getting out of bed this morning was harder than ususal.  I slept GREAT last night with a ton of weird dreams.  My legs did not want to run AT ALL this morning for the whole run.  We walked the first mile and about half of the last.  I figured it was better to get out and do ANYTHING, than stay in bed and sleep.  Did I just say that?

I can't wait to read all of the posts from the marathon today!

Running- 4.15 miles, 59:43,  Ave 14:23, best 5:15 (bs), Laps- 16:17, 12:33, 13:05, 14:06

Biking  46 minutes = 3.85 running miles.  I went on an adventure today.  I had to off road it and avoid a crash.  It was super fun!  :D  It was raining, but no too hard.  I am glad I went!

Yoga yoga yoga!!!! :p

LOL! I know what you mean about the mileage board. I have been enjoying it this week because usually I get pushed off the first page pretty early in the week. If I'm not running a marathon this weekend next year I think I'll try to get a big number again.

Good job on dragging yourself out of bed this morning.

I think they should switch up the mileage board for some variety. Like lowball poker. Crappiest mileage wins!

Good job getting out and going... sometimes that is the hardest part!! (I know the feeling!)

Kudos for getting out in the rain when you didn't have to.

Wow, you had a very good week of running! Then the rest of your week was a challenge to put it lightly. How are your legs feeling now, tired or with lots of energy? What is your plan for this week?

From Christi on Sun, Oct 05, 2008 at 09:42:46

Thanks for your support on my race report. I've never made it past the first 2 pgs of the mileage board, I think next year I'll skip the marathon and shoot for the mileage board instead- LOL!

Congrats on avoiding the crash! As you probably noticed there was a lot of crash and burn going on down SG way yesterday, I love your description about it being "Mother Nature's PMS". That is a PERFECT description!

Come next year it will be YOUR turn to feel the marathon LOVE.
