Hey...I found it. I just didn't scroll down far enough the first time.

I'll have to make a batch to have with some whole wheat pancakes after a long run.

How long do you think it will stay good in the fridge?

From RAD on Wed, Sep 09, 2009 at 15:16:59 from 76.27.12.70

QP: Whole wheat pancakes...no way! You need to go with regular ol' white pancakes with chocolate chips. It then tastes JUST like an ice cream sundae! Marion said it does keep well. I'm sure your daughter can find a way to cook it in a cake mix if it doesn't :)

It has never made it longer than than a few days in our fridge. It is not like regular syrup that will last FOREVER!!. I have frozen it before. I LOVE it on french toast made from whole wheat bread :) I have an amazing whole wheat blender waffle recipe :) YUMM!!!

From The Quiet Pirate on Thu, Sep 10, 2009 at 17:08:25 from 65.191.134.20

Marion,

I've been wanting to ask you for that waffle recipe all day...I had troubles with the web site when I wasn't home. But now I'm home.. Please post or send the blender waffle recipe. I can eat more syrup if it's on whole wheat waffles!!!!

From marion on Thu, Sep 10, 2009 at 17:17:55 from 71.213.124.121

QP- Here it is :)

Whole Wheat Blender Waffles

1 C milk

1 C wheat kernels

Blend 4 minutes in the blender. Then add:

3 eggs

2 t sugar

½ t salt

½ C oil (you may substitute half of the oil with ¼ C applesauce)

3 t baking powder

2-4 t vanilla

*to make Belgian style, separate eggs. Only add yolks to the blender. Beat whites to stiff peaks and fold in at the end.

3.4 POINTS with all the oil, 2 POINTS with half oil and half applesauce. This makes ~12 waffles.
