Can I just say I am SO glad that I can run EVERYDAY!!!  I went back and read an email Sasha sent me when I first started FRB about how focusing on speed/pace can really cause some problems for runners.  It really helped me to remember that running nicely paced miles is the best thing for me and will go a long way to keep me happy and injury free.  I am SO grateful for this blog and all of you friends of mine!!

OK serious business- FRB t-shirts.  I heard that at one time a "You've just been CHICKED" shirt was in the works.  Today on my run I came up with a few more.  How about:

Some day I'm gonna CHICK you!!!     -FRB.com

Go ahead and CHICK me... make my day!!!   -FRB.com

To CHICK or not to CHICK - that is the question!  -FRB.com

CHICKED by FRB.com

And by Lucia-

I'll CHICK you later!  -FRB.com

CHICK me out!     -FRB.com

I'm just CHICKing you out!  -FRB.com

I hope everyone has a GREAT day-  oh and the visor works GREAT!!!  I am looking more like Kerri everyday!!!

42:09, ave 12:53, best 7:59, laps- 13:22, 12:45, 10:44 (there was a 1/4 mile at 8 mm :)

I want to order one of your shirts!! I love it! I agree on the pace thing, if I keep a nice easy pace I can go forever (unless I have freaking HEEL issues) I am definitly not focusing on speed at this point either. I think your pace sounds great, especially since we want to keep that calf in good working order! We are in this for the long haul so we have to be wise about our pace!!! Way to go Marion! Great run today! PERFECT PACE!!!

I soooo hope to meet you one of these days Marion! Any trips to DC planned? :)

Loved the t-shirt ideas - how about "I'll chick you later" or "Chick me out"?

From Lucia on Tue, Aug 26, 2008 at 11:15:10

... or "I'm just chicking you out"

From Kim on Tue, Aug 26, 2008 at 11:17:56

Marion the everyday runner! Yeah! Just remember when you run into others and they say "your pace or mine?" keep it at your pace! Don't let anyone bring you down!

Leslie,

How come when my 14 year old says "freaking heels" I get bugged, but when you say it it makes me smile? :) Not that the heals are hurting you, by all means, that makes me frown! :(

Perfect Lucia! I'll add those to the list! and I have always wanted to got DC.

Thanks Les and kim! :) (happy birthday again kim!)

HEAL THE HEELS!!!

Great shirt ideas! They need to be in nice BIG, BOLD print so all men can read it as we run by. We wouldn't want them to have to squint!

Every day!!! It feels so good to be back! Keep your pace easy and pretty soon you will be flying!

LOL - I told my son I had chicked several people in Park City and he didn't know what I meant. Then he had to pass me up and tell me he wouldn't be chicked by me that day! (Of course, same son also told other people that he had run the Park City Marathon the day before and was hiking Timp).

How about a ChickStrong t-shirt?
