I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Very FLAT route, very pokey pace.  I intended to go very slowly this morning, but who knew I could "run" that slow?  I did Chick a dude though?  He was pretty old and I think he was picking up trash, so I'm not sure this counts :)  I am off to work and I need a shower!!!  I hope you all have a GREAT day.

Today I met a Kim Robinson, I said..."Hey, are you Kim R?" She said, "yes". I said, "Marion's Kim R.?" She said "no". So I thought I had met THE Kim R, but it was a different Kim R who now thinks I am stalking her or something....:)

I am so glad you are able to get out and enjoy a run! It doesn't matter how fast or slow, it's just great to be able to do it!

Kim- that probably totally freaked her out :) How funny :D "MY" kim is Kim Robison (no "n"). She is a nurse at uvrmc. She runs a bit with a woman named Tricia who lives in Spanish Fork. Tricia just got remarried and moved there a few weeks ago. She is a speedy racer.

I can run 16 min mile pace and still call it running. I think as long as you are airborne and your lifting your knees it is running. ...or at least wogging.

Thank you Sarah- I needed that :)

Just remember an easy run is essential to training, and many people get in trouble by not taking the easy days easy......slower than marathon pace I believe is a good rule of thumb for easy:) Glad to see you moving Marion!

It's great to see you movin' and smilin' :) that is all that really matters.

Any pace is a good pace...especially when you're recovering.
