Recover from being hit by a car while I was running in early October 2010.  Be healed enough to run my planned races.

St George Marathon 4:22 (3rd times a charm)

I am the self proclaimed FEARLESS leader of the FRB's RED HOT PINK CHICKS!!! Our Motto's are- 2010 "Diamonds and Titanium, Thats what we are made of!"  2009 "We are water-proof-dye-in-da-blue-crazy-nut'n-gonna-stop-us-fun-lovin'-red-hot-pink-chicks!!!" 

The next official RHPC event is the RHPC 1/2(5k, 10k, 10 miler) July 16th, 2011.   PLEASE join us !!!

I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Goals for the week!

#1 REST and relax this week.  It is my cut back week and I am gonna live it up!!

#2 YOGA 2X's!!!! A real class!  No matter what!  Mini- every day.

That is it this week.  I am tired and need a nap after the unbelievable week last week!  I am gonna go soak my legs in the creek and take a nap!

LAST WEEK IN REVIEW

#1- DO NOT GO OVER 31 miles this week!  I was VERY good here :)  A++++++

#2 Run 31 miles this week  I did not do 31, but my body was really against this one and I was trying to honor it's decision to not go too far.  I felt very much on the verge of injury. A+

#3 Yoga CLASS 2x's, mini yoga everyday. Mini classes every day, no reg classes :(

#4 DO NOT EAT LIKE A MAD CRAZED FREAK AFTER MY LONG RUN.  BAD BAD BAD!!!! F-

#5 Eat more fruit.  A+++++

#6 Go on a bike ride.  F----

#7 Be really cute and friendly!  B+

- 2.4 lbs this week.  The mileage is starting to give me the kick in the pants I have been needing ;)

Hey, you did great on your goals, you had a nice long run post feast and still lost 2.4!!! That is awesome! How much more are you trying to lose? I thought you made it to lifetime.

Oh yes, I am lifetime. I just want to drop some more for the 1/2 marathon and for the full marathon next year. I also had gained some after a hamstring injury in Jan. I have only been back up to my pre-injury miles for about a month.

Well good luck on going even further!! I know once I meet my lifetime goal, I would like to take it a step further too, but, I need to get to lifetime first and it is a huge struggle for me. WE WILL DO IT!!!
