Another zip-less day ;) but I am good with that.  I really love running and I REALLY love this weather and I REALLY REALLY love that my legs are okee-dokee, slow, but okee-dokee :)  I am going to survive this marathon training, probably ;)

Now that I know that I am not permanently broken, I will plan on 5 for tomorrow and 12 for Saturday.  Next week I will do 6,5,4,3,2, Ogden 1/2.  Next week will be dependent on how the 12 goes on Saturday, of course.

Lot's of love!! XOXOXOXOXO  I am SO happy it is WARM!!!

Good job. You can come up and run with me in Draper on Saturday. Interested?

You are so happy today. It is infectious. I am running 20ish on Saturday in Lehi. Always looking for running friends. It will be in the afternoon for me though.

Hola! Man, i would love to run with y'all, but my sitters (the girlies) all have bagpipe practice and a YW fundraiser all morning. I am going to have to get up at o'dark hundred to get my 12 in so they can be all the places that they need to be :(

I just had the BEST lunch- 1 ripe avocado, diced, 2 stocks celery, finely chopped, juice of 1/2 a lime, about 1-2 T finely chopped cilantro, and a dash of salt to taste. WOW!!! Luz made it last week for Sasha's birthday and I have been dying for it ever since. It is SO DARN GOOD!!!

From montelepsy on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 14:49:10 from 64.235.121.163

I love the bagpipes. Especially Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. That's awesome that your girls play.

Nice job Marion!! You are a great athlete as well as mom! I'm kind of 'blah' about Saturday stuff for my kids...I do my run and let hubby take care of them :)

Do you eat the avacado salad like guacamole (all smooshed up) or like a salad with diced stuff...it sounds SOOOO good and I want to try it!

From marion on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 14:59:13 from 71.219.54.64

Mike- I LOVE the bagpipes. I cry every time they play them. It is said that the angels in heaven play the pipes ;)

Rachel- the salad could be eaten as a dip, but I eat it like a chopped salad. The avocados end up a bit smashed :( The poor things just cant hold it together ;) PS- my hubby always works on Saturday, so no luck with help from him. I guess I could drop the boys off at his work and see what happens ;) evil chuckle....

From RAD on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 15:11:01 from 67.166.99.8

yeah...that would be good!! I'd love to see what your hubby would do if you dropped the boys off at work on Saturday morning :) I could see my husband getting the car seat out and just strapping them in!

Thanks for the salad tip...I'm off to get some avacados!!

Since he works at PetSmart, he might just kennel them in the Adoption Center or send them off to the groom shop for a once over ;)

Aren't you running against frivolous spending on Saturday? Or was that compulsive gambling and anorexia? Something about money and food. Are you coming?

From marion on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 18:07:52 from 71.219.54.64

I am not sure that I will be back before my chickletts have to go to Young womens at 9:30. I was going to force myself out the door by 6, so I can get home close to 9:30. I would love to run for credit card spending and avocados anonymous but I can't make it work :(

(How do you like the protein from Costco?)

From marion on Fri, May 08, 2009 at 10:01:04 from 71.213.115.160

Teena- i really like it :) The Whey protein I was using before gave me a HUGE tummy ache and this one does not :D Thanks so much for the tip :) I just wish I could find the scoop in the bag :(

From maurine/tarzan on Fri, May 08, 2009 at 10:04:15 from 63.255.172.2

Marion - I think the scoop actually only comes with the jars and their support system sent me a number to call to talk about it.

From marion on Fri, May 08, 2009 at 10:09:53 from 71.213.115.160

Now that is funny!

From maurine/tarzan on Fri, May 08, 2009 at 10:12:36 from 63.255.172.2

Ok - I just got off the phone with Abbott Laboratories. They say there should be a scoop in the pouch.

Here are the measurements for the Premium Protein from Costco:

1 scoop is ~ 1/5 C or 3.5 Tbsp (not packed)

1 serving = 2 scoops = 2/5 C or 7 Tbsp

From marion on Fri, May 08, 2009 at 10:22:21 from 71.213.115.160

I have just been weighing it on my my electronic scale.

Alright- boys are NUTS. They are just plain CRAZY!!!!
