Yesterday at about 3:30 pm, my ankle really started to hurt.  I iced it through the evening and night and am taking Advil.  It feels fine this morning :D  No running today.  More ice and Advil for today.  Tomorrow morning, I will try my run and I think it will be fine.  I am still planning on the 1/2 on Saturday, but I will have no problems cutting it if I think my ankle is not 100%.

Have a great day!

The July 11th RHCP 1/2 is getting great response.  Be sure to start collecting "prizes" for our race "winners."  The stranger and cooler the awards, the better :)

Did someone say that they knew someone who could print on our t-shirt?

Check out this tank :)

check out this clearance tank at Target

Target has free shipping and 10% off on most of their running gear clearance.  I just bought 6 tanks and one skort for $75 total.  I now have all of my summer running gear :)  ( I already have 3 new skorts from runningskirts.com :)

Are you compressing the ankle too? Sorry to hear it is hurting. I have found that massage can sometimes help them heal quicker also.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:40:03 from 71.219.59.196

That one is really cute Kelli- but my boobs are SO big that I look really prego in a cute tank like that :)

From Burt on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:42:49 from 98.167.151.26

Boobs what??? Not listening. Not listening. Just be glad I'm the only guy in this conversation right now.

From Kelli on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:50:40 from 71.219.100.181

Burt, you make me laugh so hard. Plug your ears!

Marion, I have tried this on. Mine are just about as big, but the tank is tight up there so you really do not look pregnant. It is very cute.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:52:23 from 71.219.59.196

Where did you try it on? I'd love to try again :) It is very cute :)

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 13:54:35 from 71.219.59.196

Burt- you'll be just fine! Like guys don't think about boobs! Geeze lousie! I seem to remember a nipple chafing conversation on your blog ;)

From Kelli on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 14:14:23 from 71.219.100.181

Last summer at Sports Authority, but I went there yesterday and they did not have any!!!

From Smooth on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 17:11:28 from 71.36.65.79

I'm with Marion, that tank is cute, but I don't think it goes well with running skirt. I do like the tank Marion posted in her blog. I haven never worn racer back tank though. Thanks for the tips on the Target link. I'm gonna check it out and report later.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 17:43:26 from 71.219.59.196

How about if we all pick our favorite type of pink shirt and I bring black sharpies and we sign each others like a yearbook? It can be a new tradition for our new race, The RHPC 2009 1/2 Marathon yearbook race shirt :) Just another goofy idea from the peanut gallery :)

From tarzan on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 18:05:17 from 63.255.172.2

I recommend laundry markers. The color lasts a lot longer.

Cool idea.

We could also post our time on them.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 18:11:17 from 71.219.59.196

Maurine- I love it! Good ideas evolve :)

From Burt on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 20:27:05 from 98.167.151.26

Oh there is another guy: Jun. Sorry about that. Maybe the "I love Target" comment threw me off. JK.

Marion - your steel trap memory is going to get me in trouble.

From Kelli on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 20:58:27 from 71.219.100.181

True, those shirts do not work with running skirts. I hate tank tops anyway, so i am all good with getting a pink shirt (oh, wait, I have a bazillion as it is part of my running uniform!!)

How do you view JUST the sale running stuff at Target? I am sick of weeding through everything!

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 22:10:58 from 71.219.59.196

Kelli- I knew you did not like tanks so I thought the "choose your own" approach might be the best :)

From Smooth on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 22:22:20 from 71.36.65.79

I've never worn tanks either There are couple of pink sleeveless shirts for $9.99. The pink might not match the pink stripes on the skirts, does it matter? I am color blind. I'm terrible at color matching.

From Marion on Wed, Mar 25, 2009 at 22:25:35 from 71.219.59.196

Smooth- I bought one of those sleeveless ones. Pink shade does not matter, after all we all the Red Hot Pink Chicks :)
