I am the self proclaimed FEARLESS leader of the FRB's RED HOT PINK CHICKS!!! Our Motto's are- 2010 "Diamonds and Titanium, Thats what we are made of!"  2009 "We are water-proof-dye-in-da-blue-crazy-nut'n-gonna-stop-us-fun-lovin'-red-hot-pink-chicks!!!"

I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Stretched well.  Ran 4 miles outside (45:16-12:03, 11:18, 11:33, 10:22) Stretched.

there was no discomfort running today :)  My hip was a little whiny when I first started to stretch.  I think it might be the psoas and piriformis, possible the ham attachment.  It's really deep and hard for me to touch.  Oh and my right foot was squawking at mile 3 on the ball.  Man oh man :)

A little whiny hip and a little squawking foot? It must not have been too bad if you call it no discomfort.

The hip was only a baby during the pre run stretch. the foot made me mad :p I guess that was a bit of a discomfort on that one foot, but no hip action :) David poked my bum while I stretched and we think it is my ham attachment in the hip.

Get a lacrosse ball to help massage those hip muscles. Put it between you and a wall and roll it around looking for the sore spots to massage out.
