MM (molasses monday :)-  Last night when I went to bed, I already did not want to get up in the morning.  I should have known that was a BAD sign ;0  Well, I have not had such a hard time getting up in the morning in a long time.  I had myself almost convinced to just take the boys in the jogger later and stay asleep.  Anyway- I finally dragged myself out of bed in just enough time to be back for the kids to get off to school. :D  It was a beautiful run.  It felt great, all be it slow.  At least I got my negative splits in :D  I just finished my breakfast and now we are off for a bike ride :)

I am really excited about the Running Series to get into St. George for next year.  I am hoping it works out :)  Have a great day!  This week is supposed to be gorgeous!

Running 3.56 miles, 46:57,  ave 13:11, best 8:19, Laps- 13:47, 13:15, 11:24, 10:39(.22)

Biking- 43 minutes converts to 2.58 running miles.  Again with the boys.  I think the steroids that Will is on for the croup is causing a little cranky-ness.  The bike ride was filled with screams and yelling from the trailer.  AUGH, yet again.  Oh well.  I think I need a nap as much as my boys do.

Yoga 60 minutes- This was a back bend class with Necia.  It was  a total disaaster.  The boys fought the whole time.  At one point I had to stop and drag, literally, Mac (5) to his room for a time out.  ARGH!!!  I still got a great workout, just not the "Zen" I was looking for.  I guess I am going to have to get up at 6 and do yoga first.  Although my run felt a lot better without the yoga first.  Humm.  What shall I do?  It's a quandry ;)

I'm excited for you! Your doing great. Pull as many of us, your running friends, in on the races and long runs you can get. After SGM, It may be fun to try and organize a Sat. longish run in different area's. One week everyone meets in Payson, then work our way north. Just a thought.

Oh man, good song on right now!

i love that idea! That would be a great idea for a FRB long run like the last saturday of the month or something.

I LOVE Mika!

Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory is my current favorite song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S38-mjy5NtA

Thats a good song. Little weird on the voice, but it grows on ya.

I'm game for every last Sat. Would be a lot of fun to run with some blogging friends!

I am all for the Bloggers Sat. Run!!! Marion, you have to check out my blog and hear about the podiatrist! I think I am an old woman, your music sounds like what my kids listen too, is Nora Jones and Jack Johnson too elderly?? hahaha!! Oh, and I am now a big Cubworld fan ! I would send you to a link to his new song, but I am not that computer savy.

From leslie on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 14:43:18

I forgot to mention that was pretty darn good for a Molasses Monday! Way to 'get it done'!!!!

From marion on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 16:14:23

Thanks Leslie :) I loved jakes new song. I added it to my Ipod. Thanks. I like Nora and Jack too.

Ok- I am going to work on the FRB monthly saturday run. Maybe we could each take a turn hosting the run?

From jona on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 17:54:46

Have you thought more detail on the FRB Sat run?

Last Sat, "host" picks route with pre-agreed distance(s).......

Leslie, Nora rocks. Here are a couple links. Oh, you are plenty smart enough to figure this link stuff. Go to youtube.com search for the artist/song then copy the link that in the address bar.

Here are couple good ones.

This is a good Norah song, but I can't find the album version, but this is a good version.

Keep smiling!

Exactly Jon- whomever is hosting takes care of the details, route, distance, etc. What do you think?

From jona on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 18:03:48

Sounds like a plan to me, would be fun!

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 19:25:44

Are you going to come and run our way? I can show you lots of wildlife and take you up some really FUN hills!!

Great job today, Marion!

And, i must be old because I like Jack Johnson and Norah Jones. I like most music, aside from the alternative crap my daughter and husband listen to!

And one country song for good measure--

Josh Turner, "Your Man"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKfJ8yaIDq4

That would be a nice one for YouTube---he has the voice and the LOOK!!!

So, there are my favs for you to add to your iPod!!

From marion on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 20:36:56

All right Kelli- the only one I did not know was "after tonight" and I liked that :) "The way I am" is one of my all time favorites! AND Josh Turner is too cute for words! That video is pretty hot! ;) Gaul-leee! I haven't ever seen him. I may have a new favorite artist :D where is DAvid, I need to slow dance ;)

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 00:01:27

Josh Turner is a KEEPER!!! Until that video I had always thought he was taller. But can you believe that low voice and that cute, cute face? I like the video because they are MARRIED (at least in the video)---they make it a point to show her ring a few times.

From jona on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 01:05:38

Now now girls. Easy! :-)

I wonder if that is his (Josh') wife. That would be cool. I really like when artists do that. Brad Paisley does it. It sure is nice to see!

From jona on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 01:16:33

Ok, a quick search:

"While there (in Nashville), he (Josh) also met Jennifer, whom he married in 2003, prior to the release of his album. Jennifer also plays piano and sings background vocals in Turner's road band." (Wikipedia)

From jona on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 01:21:26

Ok girls, a little more looking:

"The 6' 1” artist is a devout Christian, so he asked his wife Jennifer Ford to star with him in the romantic video music for his hit single “Your Man.” He stated that it would have been very embarrassing if anyone else had played the role."

I got that from http://www.superiorpics.com/josh_turner/

I don't know if its credible, but I saw a photo of them at an awards ceremony and it looks like the same woman. So, there you go. Married and in love.

From Kelli on Tue, Sep 16, 2008 at 09:28:44

And that just makes him all the more HOT!!!! Good guy, great voice, nice face, beautiful wife, happily married--perfect man, just like the one I have at home (aside from the great voice!!!)
