Running Accomplishments:

Started running in 2001. Have completed over 100 marathons and ultras since then.

Marathon PR 2:56:04 (2005 St. George)

New PR 2:53:24 (2008 Tucson)

Finished 2nd Overall in 2005 Utah Grand Slam to Paul Peterson. He beat me by 30 min in every race.

1/2 Marathon PR 1:23:56 (2008 Just Cuz Half Marathon)

Completed the Utah Grand Slam 10 consecutive years (2003-2012). I don't know if anyone else has done that.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Be consistent in my Riding.

Drop a few lbs.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I have long-term biking goals. Running is completely out of the question with the Meniscus in my knee.

Personal:

I'm in the 60-64 Age Group.....Yikes!

7:30am: Holy cow, was it ever windy today. It was 36 degrees with winds between 25 to 35 mph. It was a cold wind too. Cut right through me. I ran out through Chubbuck, down to ISU, up Barton Rd., across Alvin Ricken, up over Buckskin, across Parks Rd. down Pocatello Creek, up Satterfield, then home. Total 17.45 miles. The wind made it feel a lot harder than it should have been.

Bill! your pushin the mileage good job. I hear you with the wind it was bad. There's one place you missed running this morning that you didn't cover; Fort Hall. :-)

Nice work your going to do well in Tucson.

Whats your plans on running Saturday and time maybe we can do a long run together? I don't care about the pace.

I can drive to your house and leave from there. I'll get up there about 5:50. I'm used to getting up early on Saturday's. What route are you planning to run, because I'm game for anything?
