Ran from the top of B Creek down past the church, Grandhaven, the steel mill, the Egans, and ended on 13th street just over Lafayette by the train tracks. The weather was blue sky and very chilly with a fair bit of wind. Mercifully the wind was only in my face for about a quarter of a mile.
I am ashamed to admit it has taken me this long to become a Garmin owner, but it's true. Today was the first time I have ever run with a Garmin. My wife bought me a 205 for Christmas. I am amazed at how light and comfortable it is. When I have seen others wearing them I have assumed they were heavy to lug around. My average pace on this run was 9:31 which is smokin' for me. When I run Painters next month I will be in the best shape of my life. I know I have a long way to go to Boston, but I'm heading in the right direction and I WILL get there. Life is very good!
