Ran at about11pm after the hc party at Alan and Judy's. It was a beautiful clear sky with a ton of stars. Frigid cold but I was dressed just right. Ran from our house to BCreek and back. Didn't see a single car. The only sign of life was Mrs Whitrocks dobermans who barked up a storm as I went by her house. I had my pepper spray but I don't think I would have been any match for them if they came in a group. I prayed mightly that they were properly secured in their kennel.

I have got to find a way to quit these Thursday late nighters. They feel great at the time but man am I tired at work on Fridays. Four hours of sleep just doesn't cut it for me.

Sure would hate to fall asleep and accidentally drill a hole in someones cheek. Way to get the run in though.

Mack, thanks for the comment on my blog. I notice a lot of dog stories on the blog lately, including a nasty bite photo posted by a blogger (Benny I think) who was apparently running on the Streets of Laredo. I think it's time to get some pepper spray.

Flatlander, I always carry my pepper spray with me when I am running in the country or in a park. I haven't had to use it yet but just having it with me feels good. I highly recommend it.

Rhett, I haven't hurt anybody with the drill but the lack of sleep does make me a little cranky with my staff. How do you pull off those 4am runs and not feel tired during the day?
