You are a better man than me. I can't stand much more than 6 or 7 on the treadmill!

Running on the treadmill yesterday was not by choice. We had some real ugly weather here yesterday.

Are you planning on a marathon before end of year? Given your current fitness level you are definetly ready to break the 3:20 mark for Boston. Unfortunetly Chicago was such a mess. But given your time in 90 degree heat and heavy humidity you should be able to qualify for Boston no problem.

I may due the Phoenix Rock n Roll marathon in January but I still feel I am not in 3:20 shape yet. So I'll probably shoot for a 3:30 to 3:40.

Good luck with the recovery!

I'm going to try again in Dec. at Jacksonville, FL. Hopefully the weather should be better (about 95% chance of it being better). It's a flat course and a much smaller crowd. I'll have enough time to recover and get in a full month of training before a taper.

With your 3:26 last year you should stand a good chance to break 3:20 in Phoenix.
