Wanting to avoid the SNOW and wind chill (prounoucned WindShul here in Utah) I did the treadmill and (unbelieveably) watched an episode of Weeds. The people who write for a show about pot are abviously smoking a lot of it, because if you watch it while you are not stoned, it's a dumb show. Maybe growing up in So. Cal with a bunch of pot smoking hippy left overs makes it more annoying than interesting to me.

My vote would have been to embrace the windshul than endure the Weeds! Hehe!

I am so bummed about Cath's stress fracture! I hope the two of you brave young maiden warriors will stick together and find much joy, love and renewal of friendship on your National journey. Time spent with a dear friend is precious. It will be sweet to have your young bucking nephews there to cheer you two in.

GOOD LUCK, my dear friend! I will be thinking of you and Cath tomorrow! Hope you two have a TON of FUN!!!!

Thank you Smoothie! I conjured up your indominable spirit today to get the job done. I'll post my race report later. I had a good time, Cath's shin didn't give her much trouble, she toughed it out and never whimpered once about it that diamonds and titanium girl (although the alieve she took for the leg kinda wrecked her stomach for a while). We had a great time today...I did at least. Thanks for your sweet wishes. They took me far and I had a good run!
