I missed running with the real runners this morning and opted for resting my leg until the injection sites were less sore.  So late in the afternoon I ran from Bridal Veil to Vivian Park and back with my girl.  Taught her the ways of icing tired lets in the stream.  Even though it was an easy, fun run the icy water felt fantastic on my legs.

I can only imagine that cold water helping all those injection sites!! Glad you are enjoying life with your girl.

Thanks Rad. I am enjoying the toned down, less miles, no marathon running thing. My hips and joints feel better, I have more energy during the day, I don't need as much food (not as voraciously hungry), and trying to throw in a few sprints during the run doesn't feel like death. And yes, passing along the running torch feels good. She doesn't always love to run with me, but it's a joy when she does.
