I had such an upsetting series of time-wasting conference calls today I was awake until 4:00 a.m. fretting and sending out venomous emails through the night. (One of the downsides of having too much energy for work vs.using it all up running). I'm losing what I'd like to think was 'my edge' for getting things done efficiently, and instead am turning into the 'crazy lady out in Utah' everyone in the whole country avoids talking if they want their jobs to be easier. That in and of itself is it's own kind of technique for getting left alone.  I't just, being crazy, is just not as cool and edgy as being the young, sharp witted, smart business woman I once was (or fancied I was). So, I ran on the treadmill and watched episode after episode of Mad Men and Arrested Development at full volume late into the night.  AD episode 43 is hands down the best one they ever wrote.  It features Scott Baio as the Bluth family lawyer Bob Loblaw.

Just dropping by to say Hi, How you've been doing? Have they figured out what's the cause of your hypoglycemia?

Any birthday plans? Sure miss you!

Glad you got the miles in. Sometimes we just need that run to get it all out. Sounds like I need to watch some AD :)

Oh Smooth, who likes to spend their birthday partyying? Left to my own devises, I'm more likely to to keep a low profile and curse the day I was born in alternating waves of feeling sorry for myself no one cares enough to remember it's my birthday. I enjoy a good dose of self-indulgence. JK-- we should have a party--- at your house, for YOUR birthday! Whadya say? Now Michelle is gone we need someone else with a good open space. You got some? Let's party.

Rad-- yes, let's get on that AD soon shall we. I suggest starting with ep. 43

Oh--they have me testing my blood with a glaucometer every 3 hours for the next month. Something is making too much insulin. So they are getting to that. Cancer probably, no biggie. JK I don't know. It's probably just that I'm a baby. Getting older is not for wimps. I just want to wake up dead. I DO NOT LIKE watching the process of getting older.
