Three mile warm up PMP+45sec. Three mile tempo run PMP-45sec. Two mile cool down. I am very happy with the run. I really had to push the last mile of the tempo. I was quite thirsty the last 1.5 miles. It is back in the 80s again.

Great job! What is PMP (I should know this)? I'm assuming ________ Marathon Pace??

From Lulu on Thu, Nov 01, 2007 at 12:38:14

Ok, I have a minute. Thanks for reading my blog. PMP means Planned Marathon Pace. Actually right now I am training with half marathon pace (=PMP which is 8:30) to see where it will get me in the next month. I hope in a couple of weeks to run 10 with a five mile tempo at 8:00 or faster pace. I think it should be doable. Time will tell.

That sounds like a great goal. I'd like to be able to run at that pace again someday. I've been doing only slow miles, so maybe I'll add one tempo run per week.
