With Bubbles. I dressed Bubbles as Tigger, and we ran over to a place where businesses and organizations were having a Trick or Treat. They close the road, and there are tons of kids. I thought she might like to see all the kids in their costumes; there were a lot of very cool ones. I had a course planned that was three miles there and then three home again. Well she slept through her first Trick or Treat. She was extremely tired. We didn't want any candy anyway since nobody in my house really eats it. It is definitely an event we will go to next year when this craziness means more to her.

It was extremely windy. This run was supposed to be an "easy" run but I was really struggling to push the Chariot at some points and then really struggling to stay with the Chariot when the wind was at my back.

I do make a lot of what we eat from scratch so I guess that counts but I don't exactly make baby food. I tell you what I do do and maybe it will be helpful. I just make dinner as normal and if if happens to be baby friendly(depending on stage) I mash it up with a potato masher (I guess I do this when they are a bit older...nine, ten months). It is faster and much cleaner than a baby mill( I hate cleaning mills with little holes that the food gets stuck in) Sometimes I blend it but with all my kiddos needing to eat NOW...that's usually too much hassle too. If I decide we are having grilled cheese sandwiches and don't want to try that out on my little babe I just open a can of store bought food.

With my last baby Jacob I noticed that once I introduced him to Mommy's homemade goodness he pretty much refused to eat the canned stuff.

I'd love to hear what you do? I've always admired moms that made baby food.
