| | Ran from the hotel in Murray to the Jordan River Parkway and headed north on the trail. Temps were warm. Almost 40 degrees. It was nice. Cruise control. 14 total miles for 7:09/mile overall. Fun morning.
A car almost hit me in the cross walk because they didn't look right. Is it appropriate to give them a little tap on the back of their car for good measure?

| | 10 miles this morning. It snowed a little bit and with the cold temps it was a glorified "skating" session this morning. Headed south again on the trail. The ice made for an adventure run this morning. Fun time here in Salt Lake but ready for warmer weather again.

| | 12 miles from my place out to the new connecting road to Little Valley and then out around Crimson Cliffs High School and back through Little Valley. Cooler temps but I sweat a lot so it is no big deal. I warm up quick. 7:20/mile. Picked it up the last couple of miles.

| | Merry Christmas to everyone! I usually do a midnight run but fell asleep and woke up around 2am. I was planning on doing the same loop as yesterday but while running in Little Valley I ran into some of my former runners at 2:30am! It was fun seeing a bunch of them out running. We ran back to Little Valley Park and then about 25 of my high school runners were getting ready to leave. We ran together for a little bit and then I did some more miles with Spencer Klomp. It was great talking with him. He stopped at his house and then I ran back home from Little Valley Park.
13 total miles but the great thing about all of this was that none of it was planned. Totally random seeing all these runners. It makes me value my role as a teacher and a coach that much more. I truly believe it was a Christmas miracle. It was great seeing them all early this wonderful Christmas morning.
