| | Slept in a bit this morning due to the Holiday break and ended up going over and running Barrel Roll again. Nobody on the trail which made it perfect. Once again absolutely gorgeous weather. I cannot believe how nice it is right now. Exciting week with lots of family coming in to town. Should be a lot of fun. 13 miles total this morning. Probably will go out for more this afternoon.
7.10 miles this afternoon after raking up leaves. Did a new route and one that I will for sure do again. I ran from the house and then went to Johnson Arch right before the entrance of Snow Canyon State Park. It was absolutely gorgeous running on that trail. Perfect weather for a 2nd run today. 7:35/mile.

| | Met up with Haydo and Steve to run part of his Red Mountain 50k route. Legs were a little flat from yesterday. We had a lot of wind to deal with but overall it was an enjoyable run. Had fun with the guys. Now off to do lots of family stuff for the rest of the week. Should be fun. 13.5 miles total this morning.

| | We are staying out near Sand Hollow with Katey's family and so I woke up and looped around the reservoir. I stopped at the top of the big hill and enjoyed the sunrise. It was absolutely breathtaking. I cannot believe how beautiful it is here in St. George. Just kept the pace nice and relaxed. 7:22/mile for 12 total miles.
Went on a family hike out on the Jem Trail after wards. It was fun.

| | Still out by Sand Hollow with Katey's family. Ended up doing the opposite loop around Sand Hollow Golf Course. Caught the Turf Sod Rd. and hit fire road around the mountain towards the new Highway 7. Once I caught the new highway I picked up the pace a bit to get the average down. Almost caught a couple road bikers but they took off on the downhill. Made my way back around the mountain and the wind started to pick up. With only a mile to go it started to snow!!! It was pretty cool running in the white stuff here in Southern Utah. It made it a special Christmas day. 7:00/mile for 12 miles.

| | Now at my parent's house to celebrate over the weekend. Woke up and it was 20 degrees outside. I ran from my parent's house and did the tempo loop. Just kept the pace nice and relaxed and ended up with a 6:50/mile for the whole run. Felt really good. I had the shorty shorts on and got a lot of weird looks. Felt kind of like the infamous Dave Holt. 16.4 miles total. Ended up seeing Laynee running with her Dad. Fun to see the kids getting in the work prepping for track. Solid way to end the week.
I am happy that I was able to hit 80 miles for the week with everything that went on. Really starting to feel stronger again. I like this break from work where I actually have time to take naps in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day with my family. My wife and kids are great. This is such a fun time of year.
