Big boy workout with the Circle plus starting out with Mark this morning down the course. Last time doing before the actual marathon. Plan was to do the 4, 8, 4 workout and rock it out. Hit 6:09 (a little too chatty), 5:33, 5:27, and 5:27 for the first four miles and then just over 6:00/mile for 8 miles and then finished off with 5:10, 5:06, 5:07, and 5:09. It was warmer today so we ended up using other people's water along the course. Sorry! 6:03/mile for the entire run. I felt really good today and was very happy with how I ended the workout. Very, very positive heading in to the last couple weeks before the big day. Very solid start to the day. Now we head to California to go and have fun at the Woodbridge Classic! |
