Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

10 total miles this morning. 8x1/4 mile pickups at sub 1:20 on the trail by the railroad tracks in Layton. Temps were cooler but it was pretty humid. Glad to get a solid workout in.

10 miles this morning from the VRBO in Eden out towards Liberty. Saw a lot of deer. Legs felt flat. 7:39/mile. 

Did a hike with some of the family to the top of Ogden Canyon Overlook by Snowbasin. Saw another bull moose. 

4 mile run from Eden Park to just clear the mind.

14 miles total this morning before all of the 4th of July festivities. Ran out to almost Camp Ben Lomond in Liberty. Temps felt great but I was once again a sweaty mess with the humidity. 7:41/mile. Solid end to the week. Just need to keep grinding.
