| | 10 hot miles this afternoon out in the desert towards the new parkway. The wind helped cool things off a bit but it was still toasty. 7:33/mile. Good start to the week. Excited to have some good runs now that school and track are over.

| | 10 beautiful miles this morning around Ivins. A little bit of cloud cover made it absolutely perfect conditions. Just enjoyed the morning. 7:04/mile.
2 more miles this afternoon over to Unity Park while the kids rode bikes and worked hard in the wind. Took a nap in the grass while they played on the playground. I love summer!

| | Last official day of summer and trying to get a lot ready for my new position in the fall. It's okay. Spent time with the kids. That is more important.

| | Ran from the house in Ivins all the way over to Little Valley to my parent's house. Had cloud cover and a little bit of wind which made it perfect. Stopped at all the little parks to see what one had the coldest water. Cottonwood Cove Park on Dixie Dr. is the winner. 6:55/mile for just over 17 miles.
Wore sunglasses that I found this spring and they are the first pair that actually kept the sweat out of my eyes. It relaxed me a bunch to wear them. Maybe Dave is right. Might need to get some shades for the TEAM.

| | Same run as yesterday except the temps were a little warmer. Lots of family in town this week so I am saving gas by running from my house to my parent's house. The swimming pool is worth the long run. No watch today. Love this time of year!

| | Legs were super heavy today but I just enjoyed the cooler temps this morning. Missed running with Steve because he has the stomach flu.14 total miles. Did everything in my power to catch the 7:30 guy. 7:28/mile.
This week was a cleansing week. I needed to put some mileage on the legs. I just need to get in to a more consistent pattern with the running. I probably just need to sign up for a race to make it all worth my time. Now off to spend lots of time with the family.
