Big workout this morning. 2 mile warm up, 7 x 1000m w/200m recovery, 4 x 400m w/400m recovery, and 1 mile cool down. My 1000 times were: 3:06, 3:10, 3:08, 3:09, 3:09, 3:09, and 3:10. My 400 times were: 1:11, 1:11, 1:11, and 1:10. I was feeling a little sluggish this morning but I still hit my times. I guess that is a good thing. Happy day! 3 miles in the afternoon with the soccer boys and then I added 2 more miles on the treadmill while they lifted in the weight room.

| | Easy 6 miles this morning over into Santa Clara. Dinner wasn't sitting very well for some reason. An easy 3 miles this afternoon with the soccer boys in nothing but a ton of wind. Not fun at all!

| | I was planning on doing another workout this morning but my stomach was not 100% due to Katey and Norah being sick. I think I caught a little something that they have. I slept in and it helped me out a ton. I ran 4.5 miles with the soccer boys which included the last mile at 6:00 pace. I then had the club run with the guys from the DC. 6:59/mile and just tried to stay relaxed. The stomach was not feeling that great but it survived the run.

| | Easy 6 miles this morning over into Santa Clara. Nothing terribly exciting except I threw up dinner from last night. I felt light years better but decided to take the afternoon off just to make sure I am ready to go tomorrow morning. |

| | Met up with Dave and Clyde this morning at the DC for a big workout. It was nice and rainy this morning. It seemed like I was carrying a bunch of extra weight around with how heavy my clothes were. We did 8 miles for a warm up and then did 6 x 5:00 min. at marathon pace with 2:00 min. recovery in between. The first 4 were really solid but the last 2 I could feel my sickness kicking in. I was sub-5:20 on each one and hit sub-5:15 on a few. The last one was slightly uphill and I had to really work for that one. We cooled down for about 3.5 miles and called it a day. Solid way to end the week and happy to have a longer weekend. |
