| | 4.4 miles this morning before school.
Early out and a long meeting at the district office.
Needed to let out a little frustration so I went to the DC and decided to do a slight 8 mile progression run. First 4 miles out along the trail were at 6:22/mile. Pushed the last 4 miles back and ended up with a 6:05/mile overall. On the way back, a lady on a bike said, "Really nice form." I looked around and knew she couldn't have been talking to me. I guess she was looking at me. Maybe the form does look good after all.

| | 3 easy miles this morning.
7.25 miles on the trails out by Leeds. Ran with the girls and then went and picked up some kids after practice. Thought I lost a couple of them but fortunately I didn't.

| | 5 miles easy this morning.
7.15 miles total this afternoon. We went up along River Road and did a tempo run back towards the school. Just wanted the boys to keep it relaxed. 3.5 miles for 20 minutes. 5:49/mile. Big group that was tight together made it an awesome run.

| | Was super tired this morning so I slept in. Much needed.
Ran 6.5 miles total this afternoon. Did 3x800m Webb Hill dirt repeats with the girls. Pushed Laynee on these. The rain made it a little sloppy but it was a great workout.

| | Was planning on doing at least 28 miles today out off of Navajo Dr. while playing on the mountains out there. I was a little nervous about the trail conditions due to all of the rain yesterday. I parked the car and got going and only ran in to a few muddy sections on the first loop. The first 14.5 miles went well and I was feeling pretty good. I got some fluids and food and then headed out for the second loop. The trail conditions were a lot more muddy on the second loop because the sun came out and warmed everything up. Only had to hit one potty stop and then really just tried to keep it relaxed. I haven't done a long run like this in a while. Felt pretty good about everything though. 28.2 miles total in 3:46. I think it could have been faster if I wasn't messing around with the mud.
Really glad I had the music today because I was flying solo. I have a bunch of older music on my iPod and probably need to update it. Great way to end the week though. Came home and walked with the family for a little bit to make sure the legs didn't tighten up.
Another week down. Feeling more confident about the upcoming 50k. Should be fun.
