| | Met up Steve at his house and then ran on the Zen Trail. Beautiful morning and good to start the week off on a positive note. 12 miles total. I don't think I can run in these Patagonia shoes anymore. I think I need to retire them to my everyday attire.
4 more miles this afternoon out along River Rd.

| | 8 quick miles today in to Santa Clara and back. Went to see Big Hero 6 with Norah for a daddy/daughter date. I highly recommend this movie. Pretty good!

| | Decided to do a big run today because we might be going up Saturday to help my Dad move stuff for my sister in Salt Lake. Weather was a little colder but I warmed up once I got going. Ran down in to Santa Clara, back up to Sunset, down along Bluff, up to the new overpass (whatever you want to call it/"Nightmare"), and then back along Snow Canyon Parkway. Pushed the last couple miles and felt pretty good. 6:57/mile for 17 total miles. Feeling stronger each day.
3471.40 miles for 2014. Oftentimes I wonder what my life would be like if I bought a Harley a few years ago instead of running shoes.

| | Met up with Dave this morning to start the new year off on the right foot. It snowed last night in St. George so the roads were slick. I tried going up Red Hills Parkway and nearly slid off the road. I got stuck at the top and started to slide backwards. I ended up sliding until I turned around and went forward in the opposite direction. Quite the start to the year.
We ran from Dave's house and caught the trail behind his house. Did Bracken's Loop and some of Prospector. The snow on the rocks made it absolutely beautiful. Ended up hitting 11 miles total. Great morning.

| | Ran from my house and caught Barrel Roll again. I ended up going the opposite direction today which made it a lot of fun. Tons of mountain bikers out. They seemed to be friendly today. That was nice. Perfect day for running. 13.1 miles total.

| | Met up with James today at the DC to do a loop. We caught the Bloomington Loop, went up through Bloomington Hills into Little Valley and then went to the fields by Staheli Farms. We came back down along Stone Cliff and then caught the trail again. Great loop with mighty cold weather this morning. I had icicles on the beard and moustache this morning. Pretty cold run but great to have the company with James. 19.35 miles total for 7:15/mile. Solid end to the week.
Happy with two great consecutive weeks in a row with my running. I guess having no work will do that. I look forward to getting back to practice with the team and getting in to more of a routine though.
On a side note, I am almost finished with reading Unbroken. Louis Zamperini's story almost doesn't seem real. I need to finish so I can go watch the movie.
