It was a perfect day for a run.  It was overcast and just a little cold.  I went up towards North Ogden and then came back to the house.  I used to see a few more runners out there but with the weather getting colder, I don't see as many people out.  Oh well!  I have the road to myself I guess.  I was feeling pretty good so I pushed the pace a little.  I did the entire run at a 6:36/mile pace.  It felt great.  I think I will do 10 miles tomorrow and then really get going again next week.  Runner's World has a great article about the Olympic trials if anyone is interested.

Logan, I was thinking yesterday that we should get a blog sponser for you OT run in NYC. I thought if even 10 people would each be willing to put up $20 that would help. We could check with Sasha to see if there is a way to go through his PayPal and get you the doations to you. Paul has his way covered so it would be nice of us to show our support for the B qualifiers and help defray some of the cost for you as well. Let me know what you think before I move forward with this. -Adam

It looks like Sasha was able to implement the PayPal idea. I think I'll take his suggestion and send something directly though. It won't be much, but every little bit will help. Have a great race. All I ask is for a great race report so I can live vicariously through your race... Hopefully by 2011 I can get there on my own.
