6 miles in the morning.

9.15 miles in the morning.

My legs felt great this morning.  I wanted to be safe anyway so the pace was around 7:20/mile.  No soreness in the legs after TOU is a great sign for St. George.  I need to really let it loose in a couple weeks.  I didn't get my run in until later in the evening because I mowed the lawn and was cleaning house for the Mrs.  I started out with 3 miles at 7:24/mile pace and then bumped it up to about 6:35/mile pace for the next 3 miles.  I was feeling good so I went up to 6:00/mile pace for a couple miles and then finished with about a half mile at 5:42/mile pace.  Not really a big push but I wanted to get the week started off on the right foot.

Are you going for the qualifier?

From Logan on Mon, Sep 17, 2007 at 14:31:06

I will take anything under 2:30 but after working out with Paul and talking with others I think I might go out with the 2:22'ers and see how I feel. I might alter mid-race but I am thinking 2:22 for now. I am coming down this weekend to run the 5K and then would like to run part of the marathon course. Clyde is going to be in Moab so I was curious if you and some of the other guys would like to go and run some of the course?

I'm planning on doing the 5K race also, then probably 10 to 12 easy on the course to the park kind of like we did last year.

That is the plan. I think Steve might want to hit about 15 of the course after the race.
