8 miles in the morning.

8 miles in the afternoon.

Another beautiful morning run.  I kept it nice and easy again.  Did 15 minutes of stretching afterwards.  That helps out so much.

I went out this afternoon and it was pretty darn hot.  The wind was blowing quite a bit also.  I had an alright run.  I didn't feel the hamstring at all today.  That is nice and encouraging.  Some kids were selling lemonade on the side of the road and hollered at me to stop.  They said I looked like I needed some lemonade.  I didn't have any money but they said business was slow so they gave me 2 cups for free.  It was very nice of them.  I asked them how much they had made today and they told me about $10.00.  Future millionaires!  Wanted to keep it fairly relaxed today.  My body needed it.

got a note back from the coordinate about my stipend and some rooming options. I am going to check with my wife about the desire to come (plane ticket prices right now family may be too expensive).

Right now I have a reservation in downtown St. Paul at the Hilton Garden Inn for $121 a night which we could share if I come alone. The coordinator also mentioned a shared room option at the Holiday Inn (host hotel, very near the HGI) for $77 a night (but I don't yet know if this is per person or total, I anticipate per person). Whatcha think about bunking together? I have asked her if we could request roommates as well (I don't see why not).

I will be in touch again shortly.

BTW, you probably need to change your email in the system as it is still for Weber county schools.

Let me know about the room situation. It would be nice to room together. I am confused. Do we have to get it set up? The host hotel would be nice.

It depends. If we set up our own, then it is on us. If we want the room at the Holiday Inn, the coordinators send us a form that we fill out and we can request roommates.

Right now, it is looking more likely that I would come alone (whole family would be some good $ and after our trips this year, not the best idea).

I was thinking that if we do the HGI reservation that I have, we could maybe even get Seth in there as well and split the cost 3 ways.

Let's talk more next weekend. I don't think there is a big hurry on the rooms. More of a hurry is plane tickets before the price skyrockets.

I am down with just getting the room at the Holiday Inn. Anything to minimize the cost would be beneficial. I got my plane ticket from Frontier. I am flying out of Las Vegas so it is a little bit cheaper though.
