Went and ran Utah Hill this morning with James, Dave, Clyde, Steve, Aaron, and Hayden.  It was fun running with these guys.  We started at the power lines 5 miles out of Littlefield, Arizona and ran up the hill 10 miles and then came back down.  It is a long, grinding hill but it makes it worth it on the way back down.  We kept it nice and easy all the way to the top and then hit it hard on the way back.

I was looking at doing about 8 solid miles back down to the truck and then relax for the last two.  I feel good now and slowly want to get back into the swing of  things so I didn't want to overdo it.  We got fluids at the top and we were off.  Hayden and Aaron dropped all of us like we were bad habits.  I stayed with Clyde for a couple miles and then Dave sprinted by us.  Clyde picked it up even more after that.  Here are my splits for the 8 miles: 5:43, 5:30, 5:29, 5:22. 5:15, 5:12, 5:18, 5:26.  I was happy with this and then finished with a couple 6:00 miles.

I am happy about the workout and I just need to stay patient and trust my training.  I know I will get back into some pretty decent shape.  Just need to be patient.
