It was a nice morning for a run. The birds were chirping and the legs felt great. I must have been working pretty hard because after I was done steam was coming from all parts of my body.
I did my workout with Paul tonight. I did 8x1000m repeats with only 60 second recovery. He wanted me at 3:07 or 5:00/mile pace for these. I hit 3:00 for the first one and knew it was a little fast. I balanced out the next 5 to be at 3:06ish, hit 3:08 for the 7th, and hit 3:10 for the last. I was pretty tired for the last two. I had to deal with the elements again. It was windy. I don't think their has been a clear day on any of my speed workouts on the track. That is life. I then did a 6 mile cooldown run. I was overall pleased with the workout though. |
