| | 11 miles around the middle school and across the bridges, then back home. Tired for a Monday. Not a good sign...

AM: 10 miles in GP
PM: 10 miles in Eugene. The first 5 were on Pre's Trail. So soft--wish I could run there more often. Would have done the entire run there but it was getting dark and I wanted to get on roads where I could see. |

AM: 10 miles in Eugene. Past the mall, over to Costco and back to the hotel via Coburg Rd.
PM: 7 miles in Pre's Trail. Felt very heavy and zero energy. I didn't drink enough today and it caught up with me. |

| | Only 6 miles this morning, still in Eugene. After 37 miles in two days, mixed with horrible hotel sleep, I just couldn't muster much more today. Home tonight and back to my own bed. Looking forward to it. |

| | Solid run. Very solid. It was chilly--26 degrees but felt much colder with the humidity. I warmed up with 5 easy miles and thought multiple times about quitting and going home until it was warmer. I couldn't feel my fingers for the first 45 minutes. I ran out Rogue River Highway and after 5 miles, turned around and began my tempo portion for the next 5 miles. First mile in 6:11 and I don't think my garmin was working with the thick fog. I'm certain I was sub-6 at least. 2nd mile (5:35); 3rd (5:41) 4th and 5th each ran in 5:27. That brought me back to the hardware store past Albertsons. I jogged for 800 meters and began the next temp portion; 3 miles in 5:24, 5:27, and 5:15. Another 800 meter jog and then the final push of 2 miles. Perfectly flat past Albertsons and the hospital and I hit 5:06 and 5:00. Felt great, besides the cold. None of the pick-ups felt unbearable and my hamstring pain from last week was absent. Good end to the week. Highest mileage in a while. |
