Portland was a quick/rough/rewarding trip. I got sick Tuesday night (food poisoning or flu?) and could hardly eat Wednesday. Didn't get home until 1 Thursday morning, so run didn't happen that day either. Which brings me to today......10 miles this morning. My best run since the marathon in terms of zero body pain. It was slow, but for a while I'm trying to keep all my runs above 7:00/mile. Anyway, ran the Wal-Mart loop plus the dirt trail to the shooting range for drunks. It's been a while since I ran that trail--good to see that it's still there and new homes haven't taken over the area. Pace: 7:11 Red (324) |
