Get back into better running shape.  Train to run a good 1/2 marathon sometime in the nearish future (no commitments yet)

I've been trying to get back to running all summer and have failed miserably.  I promised myself I would start again when school started - well we are in the 3rd week of school and I finally got back on the treadmill this morning.  It felt so great to get moving.

I did the 2.25 in 34 min.

Today was a little rougher start.  I did get going earlier but had troubles with my back.  I had to walk slower and longer at first.  Then I did intervals - ran 1/2 the track, then walked 1/2 the track (all on the treadmill).

I ran the 2 miles (including the slow warm up) in 30:30 and then the rest of the 34:30 was the cool down.
