Get back into better running shape.  Train to run a good 1/2 marathon sometime in the nearish future (no commitments yet)

Get into good shape and stay there.

Back on the treadmill - first time since Thanksgiving of 2009!

I'm going to follow the same marathon training schedule I"ve done before, although this time I'm going to do the 1/2 marathon schedule.

Did the mileage in 35 minutes with a run/walk of 1 min run/2 min walk with 5 min warm up and cool down.

Started a 30 day program on a DVD from the Biggest Loser show.  It starts out pretty easy and gets harder each day.  Today was just a ten minute cardio but it was a killer 10 minutes.

Yesterday was super busy and I didn't get in any exercise but did great on my eating.

Today was 28 minutes on the treadmill with 5 min warm-up and cool down and then 1 min run/2 min walk.

I also did yesterday's video segment from the biggest loser DVD I'm following.  It was a 10 minute upper body workout.  It was easy but I know its going to get harder.

Read a book all morning so was very late  getting to my exercise - after lunch.

Did 10 minute cardio and 10 min ab workouts from BL DVD.  The twins did it with me and did a great job.  IT was really cute.

Just from those short segments I've been sore.
